Avrig 35 Opens Third Phase of Shopping Center in Romania

Avrig 35 has recently opened the third phase of the 7,000 sq. m Galeria Iris Shopping Center. The next phase will include a digital cinema with nine halls, bowling, pool and video games, totaling 4,500 sq. m and will open by the end of next year.

Iris Shopping Center in Pitesti is formed from an Auchan hypermarket with a 13,600 sq. m, launched in November 2007, an 8,325 sq. m commercial gallery with 44 stores, and a 9,500 sq. m DIY Bricostore, which opened in December 2007. Pitesti-based Iris Shopping Center with GLA of 43,000 sq. m is the biggest commercial park in Arges County and the second retail park opened by Avrig 35 this year. The initial total investment is EUR 50 mln.

Founded in 1999 by four American investors, Avrig 35 Group has completed Charles de Gaulle Plaza, Avrig Business Center, Lafarge headquarters, Tower Center International and Iris Shopping Center Bucharest Titan.
